Nx's Data Risk Intel Journey

Nx is one of the world’s 1st data risk intelligence (DRI) platform that helps you gain control of all your data from office files (unstructured) to databases (structured) whether stored in your datacenter or in the cloud. By fusing business data analytics with cyber intel, Nx empowers you to proactively manage data risks to reduce your compliance burdens, reduce the likelihood of a data breach and also reduce your enterprise storage cost.

Login to Nx

Nx supports multiple login options such as Microsoft and Okta as well as in-app based authentication. Contact your administrator to obtain the Nx platform URL and authentication method for your organization.

Active Directory Integration

Nx can integrate with your Azure AD to automatically ingest AD information. It can also sync with AD on a periodic basis based on your selected schedule. Perform the following steps to integrate Azure AD with Nx.

Repository Integration

Nx can be integrated with over 400 different structured and unstructured data repositories/applications, both on-premise and in the cloud. Based on your scope, you can integrate the repository/application with Nx using the following steps:

Data Source Permission Assignment

Nx provides you the ability to assign granular access depending on users job function, business needs and organization's overall privacy policy. Once the Data Source is successfully added, perform the following steps to grant permissions to users to configure metadata, content or OCR scans. These permissions can be granted at the data source level or at site/directory/folder level.

Role Management

Nx enables the creation and administration of user access by considering their roles within the organization and the tasks they are designated to perform on the platform. This streamlines the process of granting access for new users and conducting access reviews for existing users.

Perform the steps listed below to create new roles or manage existing roles:

Add or Delete User

Perform the following steps to add a new user to Nx platform or delete an existing user.

  1. Login to Nx as an Administrator and go to User Management > Users
Dashboard Assignment

Perform the following steps to assign dashboard access to existing user.

  1. Go to Dashboard Management -> Dashboard Assignment
Privacy Attributes

Nx provides out-of-the-box privacy attributes to easily identify privacy data. Moreover, it provides the ability to the administrators to create customized privacy attributes that applies to their organization. This helps simply the identification of privacy data including Personally Identifiable Information, Personal Health Information, etc.

Contextual Classification

Nx provides out-of-the-box data classifications of Restricted, Confidential, Internal and Public . To align with your specific classification policy and naming standards, Nx also provides the ability to easily customize classification labels to your own corporate standards, including the capability to add or remove the number of classification levels.
